Haiti - Tokyo 2020 : The Grenadiers humiliate the «Bajans» of Barbados [4-0]
Sunday at the Sylvio Cator stadium, in the second round of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifiers, the Grenadiers U-23 have validated their ticket for the third phase of the playoffs to be played in Mexico in March 2020, by humiliating the "Bajans Trident" from Barbados [4-0] in an almost empty stadium due to heavy rain...

The Grenadiers did not let the "Bajans" [nickname given to the inhabitants of Barbie] time to warm up, Peterson Junior Joseph (# 20) opens the scoring of the head to the 5' [1-0] for Haiti. A few minutes later Fedler Christophe (#15) shatters the score by scoring a goal [2-0] at the entrance to the penalty area

At halftime the score remains unchanged at 2-0 for Haiti.

Back from the locker room, still motivated and despite a heavy rain that almost ended the match, Dutherson Clerveaux (#10), on a pass of Peterson Jr Joseph (# 20) drives the nets of Barbados to 59'[ 3-0]. The Bajans are helpless against the Grenadiers and despite their efforts, they cash a final goal of Ronaldo Damus (#9) at 76' [4-0], which score will remain unchanged at the end of the time regulation.
